EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a specific form of therapy that helps you to process the event or experience and thus remove the distressing symptoms you may be having. It is NICE approved within the NHS and widely used in our Armed Forces and is well researched and shown to be effective. Sessions last longer for this type of therapy - one and a half hours.
